Carnival Classic 2011 Coming to Memorial Park

Get ready to have some fun at the Helena Education Foundation’s tenth annual Carnival Classic!  Therewill be activities, games, food, and great entertainment on 

the stage that can be seen and heard from all over Memorial Park.  The best part is that all of the school groups sponsoring an activity or food booth get to keep all of their proceeds!  Carnival Classic will be on Sunday, September 18, from 11am to 4pm in Memorial Park.

Helena elementary schools and middle schools and many of the high school clubs and sports teams sponsor dozens of booths– from the ever-popular pie in the face, to hair painting and tie dying socks.  Try your luck at the doughnut-eating contest, duck pond, treasure hunt, ring toss and many other games and bounce around on the HEF-sponsored inflatables. Then cool off with refreshments in the food court, where you can enjoy fresh sandwiches, burgers, pizza, cold drinks, snacks and more.  New this year will be a huge obstacle course, mini golf, button making, a photo booth and many new activities.  There will be a variety of community information booths and entertainment on the band shell stage to enjoy throughout the day.
