Helena is a great place. Our quality of life combined with a stable economy and great schoolsmake this a very attractive place to live and do business.However, we are not without challenges.
Low unemployment and the need to grow and expand a more highly qualified and educated workforce are some of the issues facing business and education. As the workforce needs have changed, so too have the needs of education.Maintaining a high quality, challenging and relevant educational system for current students while exploring alternative methods of reconnecting those youth and adults who have left the system are just some of the challenges we face. To address these will require renewed partnerships between education and the business community.
