Make a Difference
The Helena Education Foundation has been making a difference in our local public schools for over eight years.
During this time we’ve funded nearly 160 Great Ideas Grants, involving 80% of Helena’s teachers, contributing $300,000 to our children’s classrooms providing amazing learning opportunities. We’ve developed a Fabulous Firsts program providing a new, wrapped hard-backed book for every first grader in the district, engaging them in learning from day one. Nearly 800 teachers and graduating seniors have been honored at our annual Celebration of Excellence. And these are just a few examples of the investment we’re making in our public schools.
Your generosity ensures we will be able to continue impacting the educational experiences of our 8,000 public school children.
The difference your gift will make:
- $25 will purchase two hardback books for first graders
- $50 will allow two Helena Public School students to attend Great Conversations
- $100 will provide bus transportation for a field trip
- $250 will fund a Harrison Writing Award
- $500 will provide a table at Celebration of Excellence for a Distinguished Student, Educator and their guests
- $1000 will fund a Great Ideas Grant
