2011: Understanding Education Outcomes

This talk looked at the general predictors of educational success and how communities can take action to improve the performance of all students.

The Helena Board of Trustees identified increasing our high school graduation rates as priority for our community. A grant from the Verizon Foundation made it possible to bring Christopher Lohse, the strategic initiative director of information systems and research at the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) back to Helena.

The Helena Education Foundation offered this free community lecture featuring Chris Lohse discussing “Helena in Context: Understanding Education Outcomes” in March of 2011 at Grandstreet Theatre.
