Alex Sheen gave presentations in November of 2015 to high school and middle school students, as well as the community about the importance of keeping a promise.  He distributed promise cards, which students used to list their promises – everything from “I will be kind to someone at lunch,” to “I will stop cutting myself.” The cards were then posted at their respective schools.  Alex’s presentations inspired people of all ages proposing that sometimes we don’t need a miracle solution. Sometimes we just need people to do what they said they were going to do. Make and keep a promise to improve yourself, your family or your community.
